Questions
Science questions, answered.
How do I choose a PU college for Science in Bangalore?
Look at four things: who will teach your child, last year's results published by name, the weekly timetable, and the fee. Ours: teachers you can meet on a visit, results by name from the 2024–26 batch, a Thursday DSA day, and fees explained by the admissions counsellor.
What is the difference between PCMB and PCMC?
Both have Physics, Chemistry and Maths. The fourth subject is Biology in PCMB and Computer Science in PCMC. Biology is the one NEET needs. Maths is the one JEE Main and KCET engineering need.
Can a PCMB student write JEE, or a PCMC student write NEET?
A PCMB student can write JEE Main, because Maths is in the combination. A PCMC student cannot write NEET, because NEET needs Biology. Both can write KCET for engineering.
Is JEE, NEET or KCET preparation inside the timetable?
Yes, in the Integrated programme. Science students can add JEE, NEET, NEET + CET or CET preparation to the same timetable as the board syllabus.
Who can join Science after Class 10?
A student who has passed Class 10 (SSLC, CBSE, ICSE or another recognised board) can apply. The admissions counsellor will tell you about any marks cut-off for Science in 2027-28.
What does Science cost at Presidency PU College Hebbal?
Please speak to the admissions counsellor, who will go through the 2027-28 fees for each combination with you.
Is Presidency PU College Hebbal the same as Presidency University?
No. We are a pre-university college of the Presidency Group, in Hebbal Kempapura. Presidency University is a different institution.
